Baptist Temple Children's Ministry exists to lead children to a personal relationship with God, encourage them to grow in their walk with the Lord, teach them to express their love for God through worship, encourage healthy peer relationships, and challenge them to share God's love with their community. Below you will find some of the Bible studies and activites available for our children.

Nursery

A warm, friendly environment where newborns thru 2 year olds are welcome with open arms. Our nursery staff aims to provide each and every child with a fun and positive experience, while providing parents with the peace of mind of knowing their child is in loving hands. The nursey is available during all regularly scheduled services.

Bus Ministry

Baptist Temple Church runs two buses that pick up children each Sunday morning and Wednesday night. We want to make sure every child has an opportunity to attend church. Each bus is well maintained and in great working condition. Our drivers are safety-conscience and ride with a co-captain that is able to assist them as they travel their route. While at church, competent volunteers ensure the safety and well-being of children who are attending without a guardian. Sunday School

We provide age level Bible study for children so they may explore Bible truths with their peers. Our Bible study classes are taught by dedicated, trained teachers who guide children to learn Bible truths and apply them to real life. We implement many methods of instruction to engage children in active learning. Children are encouraged to participate in art, drama, games, music, and a variety of other activities that motivate them to learn while having a great time.


Children's Choir

Children meet at 7 pm every Wednesday to learn new Christian songs.  Children's Choir is available for children in 1st - 6th grade.


Vacation Bible School

Every summer, Baptist Temple offers Vacation Bible School for our church and community kids. VBS is a week-long, full-scale production designed to draw kids closer to our living God and bring them to a personal relationship with the Savior. This year, kids will travel through Power Lab VBS, July 21-25. Stay tuned for more information.
